Project Description

A new neighborhood on the water, surrounded by open space and stunning views of San Francisco Bay and the East Bay hills. Brooklyn Basin will be a vibrant new district on the Oakland Estuary, re-establishing this section of the waterfront as a civic destination of regional importance. In addition to its vast network of parks, an inspired blend of cultural, commercial and recreational activities will enhance Brooklyn Basin’s appeal as a Bay Area destination. A diverse mix of residents will further enliven this part of the City, establishing it as a flourishing place for people to enjoy.

The seven-story building will provide 241 residential units including townhouses, lofts and penthouses. A central courtyard is designed, affording views of the waterfront to all units on the courtyard. Residential amenities include a roof top deck, event rooms, BBQ, fitness room, dog wash and bike repair space. 3,180 sf of retail space faces the adjacent park.

The Architectural Drawing set has not been included here, as it is confidential to BAR Architects and the client.
