Buildings A and B will be fully market-rate housing, with 144-unit Building C designated as affordable housing for teachers. Market-rate units will include 66 studios, 344 one-bedrooms, and 159 two-bedrooms. Parking in the two structures will be included for 734 cars and 630 bicycles. The affordable units will include 19 studios, 87 one-bedrooms, and 38 two-bedrooms. Parking will be included for 144 cars and 158 bicycles. The site contains a total of 782,340 square feet for housing, with an undesignated area for parking in each two-level garage. The project was a joint proposal by Fortbay, another Colony Capital subsidiary, with Mountain View and the Mountain View Whisman School District. Around 38 units will be designated affordable to teachers earning between 60-80% of the Area’s Median Income. Another 108 units will be designated as affordable for households earning between 80-120% of the Area Median Income.
