The Middlefield project was an infill residential project involving the redevelopment of an approximately 9.84-acre site between West Middlefield Road and North Shoreline Boulevard in the City of Mountain View. The site was occupied by approximately 208 multi-family residential units within 21 buildings (totaling 266,220 square feet) and associated parking and common areas. The project proposed a General Plan Amendment and Rezoning to allow the demolition of the existing buildings and develop up to 716 new residential units (apartments) in three separate buildings on the site, with an underground parking garage under two buildings.
